Sri Lanka won the toss and invited India to bat in the first match at Mumbai Wankhede Stadium, an ongoing three-match T20I series between Sri Lanka and India.
The Hardik Pandya-led Indian team started the innings at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, which was convenient for the batsmen, and faced difficulties in front of the Sri Lankan bowlers. Opener Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill start the Innings and Subham Gill faces the pavilion for 7 runs.
Another opener Ishan Kishan scored 37 runs off 29 balls. Both Surya Kumar Yadav and Sanju Chaman then failed to score runs.

The Sri Lankan cricket team also faced challenges in front of the Indian bowlers by opening the innings in the second innings. Captain Hardik Pandya bowls the first over. In the very first over, Nishanka was given life by Suman. After this, the Indian bowlers continued to attack Sri Lanka’s batting innings.
Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka faced the pavilion for just one run. Another opener Kusal Mendis scored 28 runs off 25 balls. Dhananjaya de Silva, Charith Asalanka, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa failed to score runs. Captain Dasun Shanaka (C) and allrounder Wanindu Hasaranga gave the team the lead.
Wanindu Hasaranga scored 21 runs off 10 balls and was caught by Pandya off the ball by Shivam Mavi, at 109. Captain Dasun Shanaka scored 45 runs in 27 balls.
Towards the end, the intense competitive match goes on till the last ball. And Sri Lankans need 3 runs off the last ball. But the Sri Lankan cricket team failed to reach the target in front of Shivam Mavi’s spectacular bowling. And India won by 2 runs.
